On August 1st, DC hosted an exclusive event at The Standard, Downtown LA as part of the The Gold Standard 2009. Invited guests enjoyed music by DJ Tina T, including DC athletes and industry VIPs. As part of The DC Gold Standard 2009 experience, guests were treated to a nightly VIP turndown service, as well as a gifting suite including items courtesy of Monster Energy, DiRT 2, New Era, Incase, Spy Optic, Asahi, Skull Candy, Epicuren Discovery, 3D Artist Management, and Mos Def.

Simpel Summer Session is an outdoor event, so there is hope for warm and sunny weather, breezy hang-outs in the greenery and a lot of spontaneous street riding.
