Episode 3 with the one and only Ty Morrow. This was one of the first projects I worked on with Ty for Vans BMX. This footage was mainly filmed in Los Angeles and then a quick trip to Tucson and Albuquerque with Sean sexton, Dakota Roche & Bruno Hoffman. I laid out Sean's footage in here and was hyped to dive back and see the clips we got from this trip. Good times.
Come check out 12 days on the road with the homies and myself. South Korea beat my ass the first day and I ended up with a broken wrist, so for the next 10 days I just had to film and try enjoy the trip without my bicycle.
Our Centric Pedal features an overall larger platform area which is then moved closer to the crank arm by removing the 15mm wrench flat. By doing this we are not only able to create a stronger pedal spindle, but also allow you a wider choice of foot positioning over a regular pedal.
One of the most progressive riders of a generation; Ty Morrow delivers another insane video part filmed by Calvin Kosovich in California over the past year. Respect the work ethic and enjoy the fruits of his labour.
After years of work, and countless hours of laboratory and real-life rider testing with the PRO team, we believe we have reached a new benchmark in BMX fork strength. Don't just take our word for it, take Ty Morrow's.
Ty Morrow's signature style is one of raw power with massive hops, huge wallrides, and insanely tech grind lines. When it came time for him to work on a signature tire and bar for Eclat he factored all the aspects of his riding into the design.
Ty Morrow worked hard for his signature colorway in 2019 and he worked even harder on his epic last part for the Vans BMX feature “Shimmer.” Between injuries and LA traffic windows this final Behind The Scenes segment of “Haze” shows you what it takes to put together a Ty Morrow video part.
Inspired by decorated BMX rider Ty Morrow, the shoe that originally introduced the now-synonymous Sidestripe to Vans back in 1977 gets a toe-cap update and BMX-specific refresh. The new Old Skool Pro BMX, designed specifically for BMX riders, celebrates pioneering freestyle rider Ty Morrow and his dedication to innovation as a Vans athlete since 2007. “The opportunity to have a signature shoe colorway through Vans has been something I’ve dreamt of since the day I got on Vans,” said Morrow, on the occasion.
The ubiquitous Vans silhouette is as eye-catching as Ty's style in a bold red and gum, and equally rooted in innovation thanks to Vans’ revolutionary Wafflecup BMX technology—delivering the support of a cupsole with the grip and pedal feel of a traditional vulcanized shoe.
Eclat PRO Ty Morrow has been running Tibia's years before he even got on the brand. A strong and reliable crank since the day they came out 10 years back, Ty still swears by these badboys. A true classic.
