If you've got a big fat wallet, you probably aren't shopping for the Mirraco Essex. But fact is, not everyone has a big fat wallet. Fortunately, the more affordable Mirraco complete bikes do come well equipped. For instance, the Mirraco Essex has a 25-9 gearing, a 3-piece 170mm cro-mo Vise crankset and a good working U-brake with sticky Black Label brake pads. The frame has a nice balanced geometry and a couple of Cromoly tubes, mid BB, 5mm dropouts and a welded seatclamp.
The production crew of RIDE UK have been calling for the new ad already while their new issue has yet to make it to the newsstands. But it won't be for long. The cover got released and I must say that I like it. Instead of going out and create something on their own, the RIDE UK crew stepped outside their office and found this Evol street art. Perfect for a cover shot if done well. Cam Hardy was the one who had to do the job and the video (inside) shows that he pulled the nosewheely on top of the flat time after time. Snap!
The cover says it all. Issue 42 of 2020 is dedicated to the memory of the one and only Dane Searls and his monumental achievements on the Giants of Dirt which will change the shape of dirt jumping forever. He will be sorely missed by too many. Inside 2020's got the rest of Australian BMX covered with The Sets all star team blazing the west in Perth. A look into making do with what you’ve got with Ryan Dawson, the Focal crew hit up our capital, we go deep into the relationship between the rider and photographer once things get pear shaped. The All Man, All Glam BMX Jam went off and Todd Meyn gets interviewed on 1440’s and more.

VANS Gravel. Flat pedal enthusiasts rejoice! Vans has created a shoe that not only performs on the bike, but looks good enough to be worn off of it. The Vanslite midsole will keep the weight down and the comfort level high all day, while the Impactsorb heel insert will prevent
Like a virgin? Well, it's a brand new model in the 2012 Mirraco line. The frame is made of full cromoly steel and has a double butted downtube take save some weight. The laser cut logo in the head tube also saves some grams. Hey, everything helps. The Madonna has a Mid BB shell, investment cast drop-outs and a fancy built in seatpost clamp. The seatstays are tapered so this frame is well thought out. The top tube is 21 inches long which caters to the taller riders, or those
Ronnie Surridge thought it was time for a new ride. When in the States Ronnie can count on the help from Staff BMX for his parts. In the UK he calls up IMG and Profile if he's in need of anything. Colin MacKay hooked him up with the Haro SD frame. Ronnie goes through grips and tires a lot. He pumps over 100psi in his tires because he likes his bike to roll fast. Look at his spec list and read his answers about his bike at the bottom of the post.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
