The Albion number six will be available starting from tomorrow. The better bike shops will have them on their shelves for free. You better pick one up quick because it has happened that they've ran out of copies. Sprint!

Hahaaaa boom! The new issue of BMX Plus! came in today, with 100 pages of BMX sweetness. Racing, freestyle and everything in between. On the racing side the March issue has a 12-page report about the last ABA Grands race. The ABA is no more and was transfered into USA BMX so a new name for the greatest race of the year will pop up shortly. Neal Wood makes the Nostalgia section in full on AXO gear doing a test for the mag a long time ago. Joey Bradford shows off his carbon Prophecy bike on pages 64-65. Will this be the year for #75? But most pages are filled with Freestyle stuff ranging form Stolen and Norco bike tests, to a Shawn McIntosh interview, Kevin Porter's Fly bike check, and a Canadian footjam how-to with Jason Enns. Matt Coplon's day looks busy, but fun. Read all about it on pages 22-23. Nosewheelies are a hot trick, but how do you do them? Broc Railford explains. The SE crew went to the Philippines and it fills up 14 pages. Hitemwitit!
Spotted the new cover of the Albion BMX magazine on the Carhartt site. Now normally I can do a little write up when I've actually seen the magazine. Some magazines send over a full contents list and a picture of the cover of the mag even before it hits the stores. Other times I can read on the cover what's going to be inside and sum up that list before the magazine hits the doormat. BMX Plus! is a good example for that one. But what can I say about the fifth issue of The Albion? What does the cover tell me? Not much other than it's free and they're at book number 5. Bummer is that I don't get to see it either but maybe that will change with this issue (Tim?). If the mag has actually been distributed over the British bike shops already, maybe someone can bring me a copy this weekend at the European BMX Indoor race in Kortrijk, Belgium. Marco, do you read this? For sure the Albion will bring a sight to BMX from a different corner, #5 won't be any different.
If you want to curve the bill or keep it straight, the option is yours. Over 50 hats available on the FOX site. Check 1-2.
The Mirraco Detroit comes in either Flat Black or Flat Grey and is available as a complete bike only. But you get the best value if you purchase a bike all put together for you like this. Part by part this bike would cost you so much more, and the Mirraco dealer even puts it together for you. Win-win? Here's the parts list, you pick the colour.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
