This month’s issue of Ride BMX features a Garrett Reeves interview, a journey to the Dominican Republic, a spectacular seasonal photo driven piece, Chad Kerley’s vitaminwater Invitational, Trey Jones, Aaron Ross, and more…
By listing the events that are covered in the new ART BMX magazine, we have another preview post ready of a magazine that is at the printers' at the moment and will come out shortly. It's got the brand spanking new FAT-JAM advertisement in it (full page) so be on the lookout for that if you pick up a copy. But of course there's more, lots more. Here's a selection:
Summer is here so you need some new sunglasses. FOX have got a whole new line out of unisex models, meaning you and your girl can rock the same pair. While you ride, she can look stylish. You'll have to fight over whe gets to wear them over dinner and at the party. You can rock them in the morning while she sleeps in.
It might not be the cheapest way to save weight on your bike, but it sure does the job. By bringing down the rolling weight of your wheels you will actually feel the difference. 34R have got the Ti spokes available in three colours and they only weigh 96 grams for a set of 36 spokes. They come in size 184 and have a thickness of 2 mm. Light and strong, just what you need.
We're happy to have DC on board as a supporter of the FATBMX site. We're happy for anyone's support really. By doing the site we reach thousands of people on a daily basis, which helps the companies to get in touch with the people they're looking for. DC sent over a package with some T-s and boardshorts that we're about to show here but their line is huge and you can see all of their current product on their site. They've got a webshop too so if you're hurting for something new,
SOUL BMX magazine made it to issue 75. It's been a while since Lionel Cardoso and his crew created this. Still going strong. Comes with a free DVD even this time. Get it.
On this end we've been lucky with the weather lately and since it's June, we hope you're having some warm days too. That means that most likely you'll be hitting up the beach or the pool in the next few days. If you want to show up in style, move on over to the Foxhead website where you can order one of the new FOX boardshorts. Plenty of new designs to choose from. If you think that a boardshort is just a piece of cloth, think again. Here's the description of the first model in the top left corner, the FOX Optima. A lot goes into these shorts for you to look good, feel good, and chill good.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
