On Saturday, April 13, the 2013 Trans Jam BMX Contest Series kicked off their first stop in downtown Charlotte, NC. With a parking lot filled with sponsors, vendors, vintage bikes, and three separate am/pro courses, the first stop is sure to set the tone for the remainder of the year. Stop 2 commences in less than two weeks in Athens, GA on April 27 as Trans Jam becomes "Trans Jam: Twlight," and takes over a decade-long BMX jam after the former organizers could no longer execute the event due to availability issues. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
