MONSTER ENERGY TEAMMATES KYLE BALDOCK AND PAT CASEY DOMINATE BMX PARK TAKING GOLD AND SILVER

The Monster Energy team has taken two podium spots in BMX Park at X Games Foz do Iguacu. Kyle Baldock was the top rider throughout the finals claiming Gold and his first X Games medal, and Pat Casey impressed by taking a silver medal in his second X Games competition. Baldock, Australia, dominated from start to finish throwing flair whips, double whips, and a backflip 360 early in the event. In thefinal heat he threw up two really solid runs to take a 74 earning him gold.Even though the runs in his heat were packed with tons of tricks, Baldock was consistent throughout the entire contest. “First off, I feel fortunate we all get to be here in Brazil, and am excited to win my first gold medal in front of all these amazing fans,” said Baldock. “I can't thank my family, fiancée, sponsors Monster Energy and Unit clothing enough.”
Casey was exceptionally strong in today’s event especially considering it was only his second X Games appearance. He took bronze in 2012. Casey was just points behind Baldock throughout
