Monster Energy’s Scotty Cranmer impressed in BMX Park at X Games Munich taking a silver medal and earning 82 points next to gold winner Daniel Dhers’ 84-point lead. It’s the eighth career X Games medal for the 26-year old from New Jersey. Cranmer is the only BMX rider to double medal in BMX Park this year at the X Games stops with his first bronze medal at X Games Barcelona. Today’s BMX Park final event saw the top riders battling through their heats on the big bowls of the Bavarian themed course with the top six 
The second day of X Games Munich 2013 continued with the Street League Preliminaries, GoPro BMX Freestyle Big Air and the Moto X Step Up, Speed & Style and Best Whip competitions. The rainy weather cleared up just in time for the first medalled competition of the evening, increasing the attendance count to 27,500 fans on day two alone. At the GoPro Freestyle BMX Big Air finals, the grass lawn overlooking the lake at Munich Olympic Park was at capacity to witness the action.
Chad Kagy took home his first gold in the GoPro BMX Big Air since 2010 with a new trick he mastered this year – a freestyle motocross-style cliffhanger backflip over the gap and then a massive flairwhip over the quarter pipe that was enough to hold off Morgan Wade and Zach Warden who earned Silver and Bronze, respectively.
