On our way to Brussels it was pouring down. Awful weather for a Street Jam, but that's what you get when you plan events in Belgium. Luckily we weren't the only ones foolish enough to brave the rain. A few dozen bikers were pulling some flat tricks over a sheltered sidewalk. As the rain stopped more and more bikers showed up and the jam kicked off at the most well known skate/bmx spot in Brussels: Mont des Arts.
Local cops came to see what was going on, but let us continue to ride. Our local guide
Rachid guided us from spot to spot and became a spontaneous street MC cheering on the riders.
Alex Vantomme got 2 flats, but that didn't stop him from nailing a feeble to hard 360 on his third attempt.
Syo van Vliet killed the slippery quarter with a huge flair. The crowd of bikers had by now grown to about 80 people, with a strong delegation from the Netherlands. It was funny to see everyone weave trough traffic and literally dominate the streets of Brussels in between spots, hitting every obstacle on the way.
