The eighth stop of the Monster Army Recon Tour presented by Replay XD at Premises Park was insane! Three levels of screaming fans rattled the scaffolding throughout the building so hard that no one even realized they were in the middle of a full on monsoon. Ryan Guettler slayed it on the mic (as usual) and made sure everyone lost their voices by the end of the contest. We have never witnessed this much energy and excitement from the fans and athletes and Arizona definitely proved to us that BMX is here to stay.

The 13-15 age group kicked off the contest, setting the tone for a day all about good music, crazy riding and straight raw talent. Antonio Chavez from Chandler, AZ is one of the youngest cats around but knows how to win contests. Next up was the 16+ group where River Walden proved he was worthy of the top spot in a division full of flair whips and front flips. Finally we reached the Play Open division with 27 competitors all battling for the golden ticket to make the Recon Tour Play Am finals at Mike Spinner's house.
