FISE XPERIENCE SERIES 2019: The last stop of the French FISE tour will provide an Olympic opportunity. It's time to wrap the 2019 FISE French tour, and the final rendez-vous will be in Reims from the 27th to the 29th of September. Last but not least, the event will be labelled C1 by UCI, as well as being part of the FFC French Cup.
The event provides another occasion for BMX Freestyle Park riders to grab some points on the way to Tokyo 2020. The end of the qualification process is coming quickly, and it will be the last occasion in France to get points, so we can be sure to see some top international athletes competing. Here's your first sampling of practice at this year's Battle Of Hastings. First day is always a bit mellow and we're about to jump into day two, so there's more to come. :)
Just to give you some history about the start of the annual JunkieJam event. A few years ago I had the idea that it would be super cool to see really good riders shred our local dirt jump and it made me talk about this dream whenever I had the chance. After talking with my good friend Desmond Tessemaker, owner of DTX13, about this, things got real. We started to make plans, more people got involved like Stuart Gibson and Paul Lemson and the wheels started turning. Eventually we had our first jam at the Junk Trails.
Really good riders did show up, we had an awesome time and soon after people started asking us about the next jam. So the following year we got together again and hosted the 2.0 event. The saga continued
