We set up camp in the Bay Area of Northern California with Chad Kerley, Mike Gray, Josh de Reus and experienced local guide Christian Rigal showing us some of his gem spots. The golden fall weather days were spent clipping up and a couple sessions even flowed into the crisp nights. With a tight crew and no schedule to follow, the trip was one to remember!
Name: Michael Gray Age: 24 Hometown: Newmarket, Ontario, Canada Sponsors:Haro bikes, Premium products, Vans, Demolition, The Space Brace, Sensus grips
You've lived in San Diego for a few years now, how is that treating you? Mike: It's a dream come true. California is a truly amazing place, and an absolute Mecca for bmx and pretty much everything. Next level food. Nice to stay warm all year too and be able to work with all the best media dudes daily. I really enjoy living there.
Still you manage to organise events back in Canada. What's the main reason you're doing that? Mike: I started an event called Canadian BMX Day a few years back, and the main purpose for our event is to give the local Toronto scene an amazing opportunity to win some prizes and have the most fun day
Mike Gray loves spending his winters back home in Toronto, Canada preparing for the Spring/ Summer onslaught of street filming missions ahead. Instead of dumping clips on the gram, we hit up up to stack for a part and here's the result... Mike is a beast!
Name: Ryan Mills Age: 23 but in reverse order... so 32 I guess. Hometown: Boulder City/ Las Vegas, NV Hook-ups: Pete Demos and Scott Papiro sent me a very nice Premium complete called La Vida, when I got out of jail. Kevin Conners at Fiend is going to be sending me some things in the near future, and my good friends George Bugbee and James Tracy aka Big Fetus have been keeping me afloat in the mean time. Nathan Grill hooked me up with a full time job recently and has been working with my counseling and drug court schedule which has been super gracious of him for giving me the opportunity to support myself in an honest way again.
