I met Yumi eight years ago when we were both riding for a team called FIT Bike Co. We traveled up and down the PCH together and lived in Long Beach for a period of time. Since then, our paths have drifted apart him living in Yokosuka, Japan, and me in Brooklyn, New York and we hadn’t seen each other in quite some time.
