Getting a cover of a magazine is a big deal. Just as Joe Embrey. He made it on the cover of issue 189 of RIDE UK BMX magazine. Hunting for spots is part of BMX. It kills me sometimes when people just show up at the perfect park and don't search for spots themselves or complain about the imperfect situations. Go create a spot yourself. Even if it's not perfect from the start, you can always make it better. And you know what, having the place destroyed by some fuck-up is part of it. Show who's stronger by keeping the place going.
Now that it's summer it possible to go out and ride in the sun. Go search for spots, visit existing parks and create new places to ride so you don't have to travel as much. Ride 189 has articles with
Harry Main, Greg Illingworth, Ben Hennon, Matt Priest, Alex Donnachie, Aaron Ross and
Gary de Young. Those people have ridden a spot of two.
