As usual, a lot of work went into this one, it was held @sportzonese A big thank you to everyone who helped, from moving gym floors to standing in the buffet all day. A special thank you to @altonandi who without I would not be hosting any contests. We now do 4 events in one year, it’s a lot. Maybe next year I will rethink a little and do something totally different for a change.
Junior B
We had more kids in junior B than ever before, which was great. Junior B is a category we made to give our very beginners a chance to feel what it is like to compete and give them some motivation to train for something and focus on specific tricks which are basically the very basics of BMX flatland for small kids or any total beginner. Top spot went to a new face not from our club Nagy Gábor which was great! We need more kids not just from our club to ride and come to contests.
Junior
Now with our top junior riders from last year and the year before moving up to amateur men, the junior category became open for any one of the kids to make the podium so it was great to see some new faces standing on the top spots. Kiss-Bősze Andor got his first podium and Gold.
Amateur Women
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
