The FAT FAVOURITES list:
-Favourite spot: Favourite spot would have to be the Civvy in Bebington, a library that was probably built in the 1960s/1970s, one of those buildings that was meant to look futuristic and has half become an eye sore. I grew up riding there for the last 15 years so when I get a chance to push the limit a bit there it feels real special, especially as it’s very close to home.
-Favourite video: Favourite video would have to be either Mutiny, Let’s get Mystical or the OG Mutiny BMX web video from 2008. My first proper BMX was a Mutiny so it’s a brand with special meaning to me and their old videos are so nostalgic when I believe the BMX scene was at its peak in my lifetime.
-Food: Food is going to have to be some sort of tuna butty or tuna jacket. How can you go wrong with those options man.
-Favourite rider: Favourite rider to watch over the years would be Jason Phelan, I think his personality is brilliant, always challenging himself and off somewhere on an adventure trying something new and chaotic.

What a year Anthony Jeanjean had in 2025! Before claiming the UCI World Cup overall in Japan, the Frenchman picked up his first UCI BMX Park World Champion title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as well. You can say that Jeanjean was dominant in 2025, something that's easier said than done. The practice, the preparation, the traveling, the support, the runs, the pressure, it's just so tough to put it all together at moments that matter most. Let's see what the Frenchman has to say about claiming the UCI World Cup title in 2025.
Anthony Jeanjean (France), 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle Park Men Overall Winner:
Congratulations on your overall victory! What does this title mean to you after such an intense season?
Anthony Jeanjean: Thank you very much. This title means a great deal to me. Coming right after my world champion title, winning the World Cup is a huge source of pride. Achieving it for the second year in a row makes it even more special. And being able to claim both titles in the same year — something that hadn’t been done before — makes me incredibly happy.
Among the three stops (Montpellier, Shanghai, Sakai), which one was the most difficult for you, and why?
Anthony Jeanjean: I think all three events were very difficult considering the current level of all the

Granted, it's confusing, but here's how it works. To become a World Champion in Park and Flatland, there is one event each year that you need to win. To become World CUP champion, there are several World Cups where you can score points in order to be the winner at the end of the season. In 2025 three UCI BMX Freestyle World Cups were held. The first one in Montpellier, France, followed by a UCI World Cup stop in Shanghai, China and the last stop being the Sakai season closure in Japan. After three rounds, the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup winners were crowned. In Women Park, Miharu Ozawa (Japan) became the 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup Park Women overall winner. We fired over some questions to her.
Congratulations on winning the overall title! Looking back on the season, what was the most memorable moment for you?
Miharu Ozawa: Thank you very much! The number one moment for me was definitely when I was able to win for the first time. I was really happy that my family and friends were able to see it as well.
Out of the three events—Montpellier, Shanghai, and Sakai—which was the most difficult, and why?
Miharu Ozawa: Shanghai was the most difficult. Above all, the park itself was tough, and it was hard to pull my tricks there.
