As the state rep. for the skate contest, I spent the first part of the day running around and getting things accomplished for the skate comp. Once all my duties had been performed and the skate contest was over with, it rained for a short period of time, then the sun came back out. To me Gerrit Does is the man who brought BMX to Europe and helped develop it to a sport that is now in the Olympics. We fired over some questions to Gerrit for his opinion on the Supercross BMX race in Papendal and more specifically the safety aspect of the sport. A few weeks ago I found myself in South Africa hanging out with Hank of BMX Direct and the locals there. Good times were had. Hank decided to do an interview which he split up in two pieces.
