It was the first time that Flatland was on the program for an official KNWU title and as always there's always room for improvement, especially when it comes to participation. In that respect it was good to get together and put the hammer down. Especially the Men title was a night battle between international starts Sietse van Berkel and Dez Maarsen who have represented The Netherlands on multiple occasions. It was Jorrit van Drumpt who edged out Bodean Maarsen for the

MATTHIAS DANDOIS IS UNDENIABLY THE KING OF FLATLAND BMX
The drive-by celebration has become a staple for celebrating big moments in 2020, and the holidays will be no exception. This past weekend, X-Games gold medalist Terry Adams took on the spirit of the season with a two-mile ride through JINGLE BEAT, Nashville’s outdoor drive-thru light, sound and sensory experience. While guests enjoyed enchanting lights from the comfort of their car, Terry put on his own display of showstopping tricks, captured through the lens of Nashville-based celebrity photographer, Robby Klein.
“It was a fun opportunity to have the racetrack to myself,” said Terry. “Riding around with all the lights made it feel like a real-life video game.”
Terry is no stranger to taking the sport of Flatland BMX to places it’s never been before. To celebrate this year’s Harvest Moon, the 2020 NORA Cup Rider of the Year brought Flatland to the edge of a cliff in Northwest Arkansas for a special photo project.
“This year has given me a unique opportunity to innovate and improve through photo projects with Red Bull, digital Flatland contests and finding ways to stay close with the bike community on social media.”
Terry continues to redefine the perceived limits of what Flatland BMX is and where it can go. By showcasing his trademark tricks at JINGLE BEAT, he continues push the sport into 2021 with the style
