The Queen of BMX Caroline Buchanan has started off the international season with a statement of intent after a stunning victory in the first round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup series in Manchester. Buchanan continued her love affair with the tight indoor track, having also won the race last year, as she started the defence or her world cup series crown in the most ideal way. Edging out America’s National Champion Alise Post to win with Stefany Hernandez (VEN) in third. Post finished in second with current world champion and Olympic gold medallist, Mariana Pajon (COL) in fourth place.

The 2015 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup kick started with the opening round of the season at the home of British Cycling in Manchester, United Kingdom. With focus on qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics it was a full house of over 200 riders ready to get the season underway. The first winners of the qualifying rounds of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Manchester, England did not see any sursprising winners step on the podium. The 16 highest ranked men and the 8 best ranked women battled for the time trials superfinals victory while the rest of the registered athletes competed for s spot in Sunday's main program.
