The HARO Blackout XL is Haro's top of the line complete bike made for serious BMX Racing. The only upgrade after this would be a Haro Citizen Carbon frame but there's no complete bike available from Haro that features the carbon frame. That Blackout though. It's not the cheapest complete bike out there but the parts it comes with explains why. The CLiQ Citizen carbon fork up front is light and strong and shows minimal flex. Combined with the a tapered head tube, 3D dropouts and the Blackout PTC (Power Transfer Center), the Blackout frame is serious about transforming your power into straight speed. Out of the gate the CLiQ Weaponz 2 piece cranks mounted to the sealed bearing CLiQ BB86 press fit bottom bracket doesn't let you skip a beat. We see top racers ride this machine and for good reason. The bike does not come with pedals which is a miss, but knowing most racers use their own type of Clipless pedals why would you pay for something you are not going to use anyway?
Clark, Jones, Rantes, Brooks, Wedemeijer, Freigang etc hit The Netherlands for Pro Freestyle
This weekend a solid crew of BMX Park riders will make it to Heerlen, Netherlands to participate at the Pro Freestyle event. Riders from Croatia, England, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Austria have made it over to ride the second edition of the UCI Category 1 event. With a full day of practice on Friday, qualification on Saturday and Finals on Sunday, the Pro Freestyle event will see good riding from some of the top pros on the 040BMXPARK ramp set-up. Free spectating area all around the course which is set up in the city-centre of Heerlen in the South of The Netherlands. For a riders list and a schedule, read on.

The annual BMX BOK at Burnside in Deventer, NL is always a good time. In fact, it's the way BMX should be. Riding, chilling, messing about, encouraging others, stepping it up yourself, music, beer, friends, good shop, killer vibe, shit talking, going for tricks you've never pulled, not giving a shit, being yourself, doing what you want to do, and the list goes on. Two classes were on the program; AM and Pro. Valeri and Shanice rode the AM class and scored an 11th and 6th respectively. Yes girls were welcome too and joined the fun. Good to see that. In the end Mika Bunkers won the 12-deep final edging out Arthur van Velde by just one point. Lyon Bos picked up the goodies from the sponsors for third place.
