Mirraco and Haro bikes announced today the signing of a licensing agreement that will honor Dave Mirra’s long history with Haro bikes. The three-year agreement, with portions of the proceeds giving back to support and grow the sport, will provide Haro the opportunity to produce and sell modern-day interpretations of the signature models rode by Mirra during his ten-year run with Haro. “Together Dave and I enjoyed a long history with Haro, so I felt it was only fitting for Haro to be included in a broad-ranging initiative Mirraco has planned to preserve and honor Dave’s legacy,” said Jim Ford, Mirraco co-founder and president.
Haro Chief Operating Officer, Joe Hawk, said: “Dave Mirra was a integral part of Haro’s rapid growth in the nineties and beyond, and we welcome the opportunity to participate in the efforts Mirraco has initiated to preserve Dave’s legacy.”
