Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is excited to welcome Spain’s Courage Adams to the global BMX family. Born in Nigeria and now calling Madrid home, Courage is the first-ever Nigerian pro BMX rider. He is recognized globally as the master of manuals—be it front or back wheel, forwards or fakie, he is gifted with infinite balance and unbelievable bike control.
“It is a huge honor for me to be part of the global team with all of the greatest riders in the world,” Courage said. “I want to thank all the people who support me and help me keep going. Without them, I would never have made it. Also, I want to thank me—for believing in myself and for no days off, never quitting, and always moving forward.”

2021 marked the 7th annual Stansted Skatepark Jam, 7 years! That's starting to make me feel old. Somehow every year we've lucked out with the weather and this year was no exception, we copped the first day of a September heatwave, with clear blue skies and some proper heat.
Vans BMX presents Whirlwind, a look inside team rider Scotty Cranmer’s inspirational story, nearly five years after he endured a life-changing accident. Whirlwind chronicles Scotty’s astronomical rise to notoriety, which gripped the BMX world’s attention, and his positive “anything is possible” mindset that has kept him moving forward against all odds, even in the face of an accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
One-hour BMX documentary video consisted of 16 chapters. In 2015, Daisuke Shiraishi who is the director moved from his home town Ehime to Tokyo. He started the creation of “CROSSOVER” based in Tokyo. This is the culmination of the five years of focusing on BMX riders with his camera all around the world from Japan, Asia, USA, Europe and various places. Starring Japanese domestic sponsored riders, creative riders, legendary riders from around the world and riders who have been hiding in the shadows.
