The Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro has gone by so fast. We knew it would. One of the sickest parks, right on the beach, the best riders on the planet, and a bunch of fans ready to party and have a good time... All of that put together definitely makes for one of the best contests ever! It was too good to be true. With four full days of competition, and money up for grabs every day, riders had to nail their best tricks and runs every time they hit the course. It seemed that the crowds in HB would take in enough action through three days of qualifying,

When Nike stepped into the “Extreme” market with there 6.0 program it was easy to talk shit about them. As BMX-ers you want to support your own friends over the big companies. Hating on Nike was easy to do but they held on and did a lot of things the right way. The big swoosh probably has a bigger marketing budget than all BMX companies combined so it’s hard to fight the big dawg. But as they’ve progressed and put BMX into places that it normally would not go,

Now the dust has settled over the results and the unreal standard of 6.0 Standby Barcelona which saw the French crew raise the bar of web edits, we are ready to give everyone their say in who takes 1st place in best trick and best rider. Taking the advice of all the directors we got the list down to 16 options in each category which was still a tough move, and once again one that is bound to cause some controversy. Starting off with the Relentless Boardmasters presented by VANS some serious stuff went down during the Miniramp contest. EMEA rider Ben Hennon won Best Trick contest, Highest Air contest and scored a 2nd place in the regular finals! Well done Ben! EMEA rider Tobias Wicke entertained the crowd with some of his amazing tech skills and some rare and true miniramp riding. He earned 2nd as well, joining Ben on that podium spot.
