Simple Session 2022 is on! The day kicked off with sanctioned BMX street jam at a legendary spot in Tallinn – the stairs of Viru Keskus next to the Hämarik statue, followed by a skate street jam later the day. For the first time in history, there was rail, ledge and euro-cap in this location built specially for this event.
BMX street jam winners:
-Killian Roth took the win on the ledge spot with a picture perfect 180 to smith to fullcab down a very steep ledge.
Now open! Longwood, Florida.
When you compare the official riders list to the riders that actually decided to show up for the second day of BMX Street Practice at @simplesession 2020, it's pretty obvious who partied last night and who didn't.
Halfords has appointed its first BMX ambassador, Olympic silver medallist Kye Whyte. Whyte will be working with Halfords throughout the next year to promote the high street retailer’s range of BMX products, which includes Mongoose, X-Rated and Huffy brand bikes. To celebrate the partnership, Halfords-owned repair service Have Bike will be offering free bike checks and repairs for children on June 18th during the BMX National Series, which takes place at Whyte’s home track in Peckham, South London.
Dan Daly, group marketing director at Halfords, said: “We’re so excited to have Kye as part of our team. He’s incredibly talented, and has made his mark in BMX history. We can’t wait to work closely with him
Let's start this review by a quote from Vic Murphy who was a regular contributor to the FAT-'zines back in the day. "I ride to get better. Not to get money. Not to impress anyone. Not to improve the environment. But just to see how good I can get riding from one place to another. Some people don't understand me. Well, I don't understand them. Ride to death." Vic Murphy. D.B.I. Issue 20 of FAT-'zine came out in the fall of 1990 right after we had finished another FAT-JAM (report in #21). We traveled around in the summer and visited the World Championships in Trier, a few VANS shows in Germany, went to the ECC in Slagharen, and we had a few lakejump sessions when it got really hot.
Interviewed people this time were Jason Jessee, Joop "Sloop" Smulders, Raymond Tabak, Frank Schnuetgen, and Dan Hubbard. We also had reports from the UK King Of Vert, a street jam in Aalborg, Denmark, the 2-Hip comps in the USA, and a full report from the contest in Cologne, Germany.
It's the first issue on the new typewriter so you can actually read the 'zine.
Enjoy.

Julian Molina stole the show last year at first Rumble In Richmond. When we decided to bump him to the Pro team, we knew delivering the surprise at this years Rumble was a no-brainer. Event hosts Rad Share, are bolstering the future of BMX by building a sense of community, promoting safety, and helping to empower the next generation of riders all in the name of fun and we back that! Without further ado, here's the Rumble In Richmond experience with GT.
