Both Fields and Daudet had an incredible 2016 season, and the two riders have been of the most consistent riders on the USA BMX and UCI World Cup tour for the past several years. Highlights for both riders came in the most recent season, with Connor winning Olympic Gold and Joris backing up his 2015 USA BMX #1 Pro title by also winning the UCI BMX Elite Mens title. Both riders contracts have been renewed with a 4 year term, keeping both riders abroad Chase BMX bikes through the next Olympic cycle.

Professional BMX rider Scotty Cranmer recently crashed while riding and suffered some very serious, career-threatening injuries. Sam Willoughby an Australian Olympic BMX rider was in a freak accident on September 10th, 2016 while training at local San Diego BMX track. He suffered a spinal cord injury around his C5 – C7 vertebrae. Sam being the fighter that he is with a spirit of a true champion has been doing aggressive rehabilitation therapy in Colorado with his fiancé, family, friends and fans cheering him on.
