The AST Dew Tour today announced the roster of athletes that are set to compete at the Toyota Challenge in Salt Lake City, September 11-14 at EnergySolutions Arena. More than 150 of the best action sports athletes in the world will be in Salt Lake City to compete in the four-day competition, including Olympic medalists Mike Day, who won the silver medal and Donny Robinson, who took home the bronze in the inaugural BMX Supercross event.

"We are looking forward to a packed schedule in Salt Lake with the AST Dew Tour competitions, the Free Flow Tour Finals and the BMX Supercross specialty event with Olympic medalists Mike Day and Donny Robinson competing," said Wade Martin, AST President. "The race for the Dew Cup is heating up, and this is a pivotal stop for athletes looking to bump up their scores in the standings. Competition will be fierce, and captivating for the fans onsite in Salt Lake City

The Bocal Mostard crew organizes a big party on the 27 September to celebrate the 30th birthday of the snakerun of Liège (Luik/Lüttich in Belgium). It's the oldest skatepark in Belgium and one of the last in this style in Europa. It's still rideable because of a new concrete layer in 2000! That's a real estate for the communities of BMX and skateboard. This event is a good occasion to interpellate the local politicians about the future of the place - 15 000 m² nearly in the abandon.

Today we made it over to the second to last Grand Prix of Motocross of the 2008 season. In the MX1 and MX2 class nothing has been decided yet so the riders gave it their all on the heaviest sand track of the world to score some points towards a good end result. In the women class the championship was decided and the champion is from France. Marc de Reuver won the MX1 class and Tyla Rattray doubled in MX2.

NIKE keeps sending in shoes and when they're the right size, I wear them. Most recently the NIKE Air Heist model arrived in size 9 and already when I put them on they felt comfy. I haven't left the house on them yet but I've got confidence that they'll do the job. The toe strap doesn't do much for me and makes it look a bit like a golf shoe or something but so far it hasn't gotten in the way. These kicks costs around $ 100,= USD a pair and according to the NIKE 6.0 website it is the most versatile and performance driven shoe for the next generation.
