Here are some hotels the Rebeljam crew recommends for the stay at this years VANS rebeljam from 2-4 December 2011. They would suggest to take a hotel in the downtown area, as it's only a 5 min car or bike ride to the venue Klokgebouw.There's a deal with the Budget Hotel. It's a basic, but nice and clean hotel right in the City. By the password "rebeljam" we have some rooms with special rates blocked for you - but, first come, first serve so dont wait too long.
We've been working on getting a concrete action sports park made near the FATBMX offices here. The dirt spot is there already, but that concrete skatepark next to it would make it even better. Tomorrow we have a meeting with the local council and Ralf Maier of Betonlandschaften and we'll see if we can make things happen. 3 ABA/UCI rounds…3 days of racing…2 wins and a crash. Flying from California to Florida we had flight delays and we didn't get into Tampa Florida until early hours of the morning. We drove from Tampa to Orlando arriving at 5am to get 5hours sleep get up unpack our bikes and race day one of racing. It was nice to get back on a bigger hill again in Florida the race had a cool little vibe to it. It was not only 3 ABA rounds there was also a Disney Cup for overall winner of the 3 days of racing.
