The first round (of three) of the XTRLRG Series is going to take place in Heerlen, NL this Saturday. 11 Pros and 17 Amateurs have signed up through the official website (www.XLseries.com) to ride at The Promise park. You can sign up too so pay the site a visit for more info. New SNAFU Pro rider Paddy Gross is coming over so even if you don't ride yourself, you can check out a real World Champion on a BMX bike in action on March 12th (sorry Paddy, that's what you get for being good).
The Flatland Ninja sent us this photo of the new KGB bike. We were thinking that he put on his Ninja suit and strapped a digital camera around his waist and broke into the KGB office to take the shot. Then we checked the KGB site and see what we found:
Someone got into our computer and stole a picture of the new Psychopower frame. Who ever does this kind of things are just ignorant bastards and I hope they crash bad next time they ride, if they even ride. Hehe. Just kidding. We were going to post a picture of the new frame during this week so here you have it.
The first race of the Open Dutch MX Championships took place in Gemert. A lot of work was done to the track to make the event happen. It had snowed a lot and the below zero temperatures of the past week turned the track into a hard-pack track instead of a loose sand circuit. It was weird, it looked more like a superretard race than an MX race but the conditions were the same for everyone.Rob van Vijfeijken got the holeshot in moto 1 of the MX2. His dad had helped getting the track in shape and Rob must checked out every inch
For the year 2005 non-European riders are allowed to race the UCI European BMX Championships. That goes for the whole series in the Challenge and Challenge Cup series as well.
It sounds like Dale Holmes is going to do the complete series but he's actually from the UK but living in the States. Who he can drag with him for a race or two is unknown but the races do count for the UCI ranking and that list is becoming more and more important towards the 2008 Olympic games.
The Metro BMX jam is taking place in Toronto this weekend. We hope to have the results up in the next few days. Here's a list of 80 participating pro riders. Make your top three list now and see how you did come Monday.

Simon Tabron doesn't sit on his ass and watch the world go by. He gets stuff done. After building an indoor vert ramp, it's time for a halfpipe contest. His SpinLikeHell company is expanding at the same time. What's the latest you ask?Matt Fairbairn has moved from Australia to Newquay (UK) to ride our new vert set up and both he and Zach Shaw are now riding for Spinlikehell. We've got some cool new t-shirts and other products coming out and hopefully our on-line store will be operational in the near future at spinlikehell.com
Also, we are running a vert only jam on our new ramp set up at Mount Hawke Park in Cornwall, UK on 21st and 22nd May. It will be A, B and C group format with unusual prizes and a saturday night out in
The FATBMX pin up section is suffering. It's winter which explains it. That's when we need help from the Aussies to send in their best material. Here's two more from Corey Bohan's personal stash. As long as they get a kick out of it that the pics made it on the FATBMX pin-up section, it's fine with me. We need pix of chix on the BMX. Help us out.
Props issue 55
USA $ 19.95Stephan Lilly gets the cover of issue 55 and also a Bio which was nice. Adam Baker keeps up the trail footage. His Bio has lots of dirt jumping in it. Contests that are shown are the FBM Ghetto comp, the Derby Backyard jam and the Animal Brooklyn Banks Jam. Maybe you
Premo sent in his answers regarding the Pro BMX website check up. This leaves Derek Betcher with the Slacker title but we still want to hear from him too. After TL, RM59 and Holmes explained some more about their site, it's now time for Greg Romero:Who is the first one you think to respond to this, and who is last?
TL...Or Dale if he's not out on a hot date rolling the benzo! I think I wil be the last since I've started this new bike company and starting an "All Womens" gym here in Edmond, OK..
Is that the same way it would be on the track? On a fair race with the 5 of you on the gate, what would be the results?
Well it depends if it's rodeo racing or downhill...If it was downhill it will
On display in the retail shops until 12 April
Josh Heino gets the cover of the May issue of Ride. Josh also gets the Pro interview where he talks about losing his three main sponsors now that he has a kid on the way.
The May issue is all about the FOX poster. You see Nate Wessel do a turn bar on one side (I'm sure it's a sick transfer but it doesn't come across in on single hot) but you should rip it out and check the back side. Scotty Cranmer takes flips to a new level. Front flip with a turndown thrown in over a regular jump box in the skatepark. Awesome!
The issue also has an "11 days in the Midwest" article, 5 interviews with riders on the "Pro Life", Jimmy Levan explaining how to do toothpick grinds on rails, some write up on tools, a
