To celebrate the Vans x Federal collection, riders Anthony Perrin, Bruno Hoffmann and Dan Lacey escaped winter with a week in the Island of Tenerife. The excursion capped a very unexpected 2020 and the much needed escape and reconnection of the team after such a long period apart inspired some heavy, creative riding.

USA BMX - the largest BMX racing organization in North America - announced today the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Amateur Series has partnered with Hyper Bicycles. The USA BMX Freestyle 2021 schedule will consist of 10 digital competitions where membership and entry fees are required, five National events, and one Grand Final competition where membership and pre-registration are required for both. “Hyper Bicycles has been supporting the BMX industry for more than 30 years, and for that support to now include the first-ever U.S. BMX amateur series, we are beyond grateful,” said USA BMX Freestyle President, Shane Fernandez. “Hyper Bicycles as a presenting sponsor is tremendous, but having a partner who believes in the same vision of creating a pathway for amateur riders and giving them the opportunity to progress is invaluable.”

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that the first two rounds of the 2021 UCI BMX SX World Cup, which were scheduled to take place in Stuttgart (Germany) on 8 and 9 May before being cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will now take place, at the planned dates, in Verona (Italy). A week beforehand, on 1-2 May, the Italian city will host the two opening rounds of the UEC BMX European Cup on the same track. These two competitions feature on the 2021 UCI BMX International Calendar: the first is a Class 1 event and the second Hors Class.
Given that the first two rounds of the 2021 UCI BMX World Cup count towards Tokyo 2020 Olympic
