Kicking off the 2023 season, the first round of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup starts today in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, with a great program for the best international riders. BMX Freestyle is back in Saudi Arabia at international level and with a competition open to women for the first time in the country. The best riders from around the world will compete in the Park format at Diriyah to try to win the first medal of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup and with a view to earning points towards qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
About 30 female riders, from across the world will compete, representing France, China, the United States, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Chile, Argentina, the United Kingdom and many more.
Last year the Jersey BMX guys took a trip to the states hitting Texas, Florida and NYC and this really sick two part video is the result. This ticks all the boxes, both visually and riding wise. Take it in and then look out for the NYC instalment next week.
"We spent 2 months in the USA, the first one was in Texas and went to Florida for the Swampfest. And the second month was in New York City.
The plan was to film 2 videos parts to announce the beginning of our new brand "JERSEY". So we made the first video part in Texas including the Swampfest trip and another part filmed in NYC.
