We got our hands on a Teufel Boomster boombox a few weeks ago. We've been putting it through the test and here's the report. Basically we've been taking the speaker to the trails on digging sessions and have used it while working on the site indoors. We'll mention the positives first before we mention the negatives. The Boomster has a killer sound. Even when you turn it up, the sound doesn't distort. Indoors it goes louder than you want, so whenever you need a speaker for an indoor party or at a BBQ, the Boomster has you covered. The Bass can be monitored. It's not the deepest bass we've ever heard, but the sound is great and that's what you need basically from a portable speaker. The Boomster isn't a speaker alone. You can charge your phone or other devices that need power and have a USB to plug in.
The Boomster also has a built in radio (and antenna) for those listening to Radio stations. We could save our favourite stations within seconds of taking it out of the box which indicates the use of the Boomster
