The other 3 nominees have been added from the open nomination from the public.
Bob Haro, known as the “Father of Freestyle”, is paying tribute to the sport he pioneered with his new IKONIX limited edition 30th Anniversary BMX Freestyle bike. Drawing on a legacy of design and performance, these bikes will be the ultimate tribute to thirty years of BMX freestyle innovation and style with only 540 premium-crafted bikes being produced for release in summer 2012.
“2012 marks three decades since I created the first bike for freestyle riding. I’m still a BMXer at heart, so I am proud and amazed by where other riders have taken it over the years,” said Bob Haro.

The French BMX magazine is new on the market. This is the premier issue and the plan is to bring out a new one every 3 months. The downfall is that it's in French. It won't hurt whoever speaks French, but it's less interesting for everyone else. The content is in colour and it's got Albion type paper. Icons are made which will come back in future issues. Some of the content of issue one looks like this:
-Cocher: Corey Martinez interview
-Styler: Anthony Perrin
-Dater: FBM Ghetto jam
-Decaler: Clement Granier
-Participer: Vans Rebeljam
