Nitro Circus stop in to Adelaide for the final show of the Australia tour this year (Due to safety risk) and I finally land one of the hardest BMX tricks I have ever tried. It has taken me 6 years to land the 720 Double Backflip (Double Cork 1440) on BMX and I couldn't have done it at a more perfect time. I also try a bunch of other World First tricks during practice and the other athletes throw down as well!

Anthony Jeanjean joins TSG. A little interview with the Frenchman
TSG are proud to announce their latest addition to their bike team, 21-year-old French freestyle BMX prodigy Anthony Jeanjean. Jeanjean’s love affair with BMX began at FISE Montpellier, aged 10. From that day on his line through life’s rhythm section was set – he was going to be a pro BMXer: “I knew that was what I wanted to do with my life,” says Jeanjean. “For me it was a goal and also a clear choice, I knew that was what I wanted to do with my life”
Jeanjean now joins TSG’s star-studded pro team: “We are so pleased to welcome Anthony Jeanjean into the Ride TSG family,” says CEO Ruedi Herger. “Not only is he an outstandingly skilful rider and competitor but he is also an incredible role model for BMX riders, present and future.”

Jeanjean burgeoning stash of trophies includes the first ever European freestyle BMX Championship crown; French BMX freestyle gold; and in 2019, after coming back from serious injury, his career came full circle with a win at the FISE Montpellier. “It was a very intense moment for me,” says Jeanjean. “Because I discovered BMX freestyle at FISE de Montpellier 10 years ago and my first competition was at FISE de Montpellier.”

2020 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup: rounds in Manchester (Great Britain) and Papendal (Netherlands) postponed
Due to the current pneumonia epidemic (Covid-19) linked to the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) must announce that the next two rounds of the 2020 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup which were to take place in Manchester (Great Britain) on 18 and 19 April and in Papendal, Netherlands, on 2 and 3 May, will not take place on the scheduled dates. In line with its recommendations made last Sunday to organisers from countries identified at risk by health authorities, the UCI is fully supportive of the decisions taken by the British and Dutch organising committees to postpone the events based on directives adopted by their governments to counter the spread of the virus.
2020 UCI BMX SX World Cup Papendal and UEC race canceled. Decision inevitable due to corona crisis.
The European BMX Cup, the UCI BMX SX World Cup competitions and the Framed Festival at Papendal are canceled. Papendal has decided this after intensive consultation with the UEC, the UCI and other parties involved. This decision is inevitable due to the current corona crisis. The UEC European Cup would take place on April 25 and 26, followed by the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup and the Framed Festival from May 1 to 3. The corona crisis is gripping the entire world, developments are rapidly following each other, which entails an uncertain time for everyone. It is currently unclear how this crisis will develop in the near future.
The measures taken in the Netherlands, but also by other countries to prevent the spread of the virus, mean that we are forced to discontinue our preparations for the BMX competitions and the Framed Festival. Think of public life that is quiet in different countries, riders who cannot train because training locations are closed and borders that are closed so that one cannot travel.

We must put the safety and health of athletes, staff, crew, volunteers, spectators and other stakeholders first. It is not responsible at this time to bring together thousands of (international) racers and visitors. In addition, we have a social responsibility to take.

Events are being postponed and cancelled it seems almost daily with the worldwide spread of the Corona virus pandemic. Thankfully flatland can be something some of us can do in isolation, if you have a home spot or something close to that.
2020 UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland World Cup: postponement of stop one in Hiroshima, Japan
Following the decision of the Hiroshima Prefecture in relation to the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) must announce that the opening round of the UCI BMX Freestyle and Flatland World Cup, part of the 2020 FISE World Series, in Hiroshima, Japan – initially scheduled from 3 to 5 April – has to be postponed. The UCI fully supports the decision taken by the Japanese authorities and reiterates that its primary concern across all its disciplines and events remains the safety of athletes, teams and all parties involved.
The new date of the competitions will be announced later in consultation with the Japanese authorities and the series organiser Hurricane.
