Making a skatepark profitable is next to impossible, that's why everyone needs to support them. The original Rollerpark in St. Niklaas has moved into an other location. The old hall was huge, and the current place is humongous. It is safe to say that it has everything you are looking for; a shop, a bar, games, video corner, pinball machine and.....ramps. Aarle-Rixtel is a place well known in the BMX community. It's the town of the FAT-JAM and Paul's Boutique. A few years ago Aarle-Rixtel joined with villages Beek en Donk, Mariahout and Lieshout (home of Bavaria beer) to form Laarbeek. The local councils became one so if we needed a ramp of some sorts we had to go to this one place.
Boekel is only 10 miles from here. In the past we used to ride our bikes that distance to ride all day with someone who lived up there and then ride our BMX bike back home. Times have changed and we threw 3 bikes in the back of the Vito on a Sunday evening to ride the Boekel trails.

Anacortes, WA is located on Fidalgo, Island and is home to just a handful of riders. There is one public skate park, A full-pipe factory located just a couple cranks behind the park, and then there is the Anacortes "Boatyards".
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
