Intense BMX is sending the Cycling Australian Elite High Performance BMX team five custom-painted Podium frames. Each frame features an Aussie-inspired graphics scheme in the official colors of the Cycling Australia. Last month, Intense BMX, Sinz and THE finalized a deal, making the U.S. BMX frame, bicycle and components supplier the Official Product Supplier to Australia's top BMX professionals. The agreement with Cycling Australia is an extension of a less-formal deal in 2010 where the company supplied members of the powerful BMX Australia Elite High Performance Program with frames, forks, components, helmets and protective gear.
The metallic Aussie green frames feature graphics inspired by Aboriginal paintings, but given a modern twist. Each frame also has the rider's name--
Rachel Bracken, Lauren Reynolds, Brian Kirkham and
Caroline Buchanan-and the THE and SINZ Elite logos. The team received five frames, one for each rider and one spare.
