Suzuki BMXMasters 2007 now weatherproofed The weather forecast is a bit unsettled, so we've taken steps to make sure the Masters can still go ahead, whatever the weather! Vert and Mini-ramp will now be roofed, with special seating being erected alongside the ramps. The flatland tent is up already – located as usual, so flat will be running events all weekend long!

What an unbelievable day this has been. For once every single thing that we aimed for we achieved. Nothing is impossible! The day started early with the arrival a clinical ascessor from Craig Hospital Denver, Colorado. Her job was to determine whether Stephen would be suitable for their Rehab facility. During the 3 hour meeting, Stephen was accepted and a bed was available for tomorrow, Thursday, the last admission day for this week. The family were informed of how his Rehab programme would proceed. 
After a successful kick off in Lohof with more than 65 starters from five nations PlayStation® challenges all dirt jumpers and trails riders to rock the newly digged dirtpark of Moers on July 21th 2007. This recently established location offers all that one can wish for: Two lines of varying difficulty with four doubles each are waiting for you to take over from last years winner Markus Hampl and get yours self qualified for a total of 1500 € prize money. Like on every tour stop there will be a Best-Trick-Contest in addition to the regular dirtjump contest which, for the lucky winner, will be worth a PlayStation®Portable console. For all amateurs taking part in the contest there will be material prices, all riders finishing 20th or better will score for the overall tour ranking.
For the PlayStation® the Camp BMX Series 2007 overall champ there will be waiting another 2000€. After the contest all riders, friends and family are invited to chill with us and enjoy a delicious BBQ.
On Friday, 06.07.07, I showed up at around 7.15 am at the Office. The first thing I saw after I parked my car was a damaged window thrown in by a cobblestone! 10 days after we made the move into our new warehouse we had the first visit from a thief. Immediatly, I called the police as well as both owners Christian and Jann. A few minutes later the police arrived and had a quick look into the office. They didn't do anything special, no finger prints were taken and after a few minutes they left. For them it was just a normal housebreaking and they had no ambitions to find the housebreaker. 
Just 4 weeks to go until for the third time we say: “rebel jam- unfiltered BMX” in Berlin Köpenick/ Germany. Rebel Jam is still an international BMX contest of special character. As always the riders will start in the categories pro and amateur, and will have the chance to win €24.000 in 3 different disciplines: Street, Trails and Mini Ramp. For the international riders and visitors this might be the last visit to the Mellowpark, since the park will close down its 2500qm Street Area, Dirt Jumps and Mini Ramps by the end of the year and move to a new location. So for some of us this will be the last chance to ride and experience one of Europe’s greatest and biggest skate parks. As in recent years, you can look forward to visit the art-gallery, which will be located in one of the adjoining buildings of the Mellowpark. This year we will expand the traditional photo exhibition with work from other fields of the art… but we won’t give away too much at this point…
BMXTalk .com has the latest updates on Stephen Murray but we would like the FATBMX readers to know what the situation is. People from all over are showing their support and are organizing fundraisers which is great. Next to visits from his family, Stephen has also received visits from Wade Martin (Dew Tour president), Travis Pastrana and Brian Foster. It makes him smile, and that's how we know him. 2 July 2007
Stephens had a bit of an up and down time over past few days. There are lots of complications associated with such an injury and these are the main concerns at the moment, as opposed to just thinking about letting the bones in his neck heal. Things like fevers, high temperature, breathing complications (his lungs still aren't working efficiently for him to breathe on his own so he's still on the life
The FATBMX papparazzi was in town at the last night of the Elevation contest in Whistler, Canada. With one dollar drinks (anything) it didn't take long for people to get loose. There were like 10 DJ's spinning the wheels of steel and Lonnie Paxton enjoyed his last night off before the Patriots' training season started (at least it looked that way). Thanks again to RedBull for kicking ass on all fronts. Enjoy or fear the photos. 
Dickies Lounge at the Suzuki BMXMasters As in the years before there won´t be a backstage area at the Suzki BMXMasters and you can hang around together with the riders between the contests. For that there will be for example the Dickies Lounge, where you can serve yourself with food and drinks, chill at the sofas or battle each other at the Wii-consoles. Special offer: Breakfast with scrambled eggs.

To support Stephen Murray and his family, there will be a Ride 4 Stephen Murray benefit dirt jump contest on Saturday July 14th at Rick Lakin's trails in Riverside CA. $20 Donation to ride the AM and PRO dirt contest and $5 to watch. All the money raised at this contest goes to Stephen Murray and his family. DJ Launchin Lance will be spinning tunes all day, there will be a bbq and the supporting companies provided tons of products to win.
