The last couple of days, Stephen has remained stable and is looking forward to Rehab in Denver. We've been told that he will fly tomorrow (Tuesday). As you can imagine,there has been a lot going on in the background and we apologize for not giving you every detail as we appreciate there are literally thousands of people around the World who are concerned about Stephen and his well being. For everybody out there who are sending your well wishes, please just keep your fingers crossed. 
The AST Dew Tour, the world’s premier season-long action sports tour, continues its third season with the Right Guard Open at Cleveland’s North Coast Harbor. The five-city tour also includes stops in Baltimore, Portland, Salt Lake City and Orlando. More than 260 professional action sports athletes from around the world-including BMX athlete Jamie Bestwick, skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, and FMX competitor Nate Adams-will return to compete for the Dew Cup, awarded at season’s end to the athlete with the highest number of points in each of the six disciplines: BMX (park, vert, and dirt), skateboarding (park and vert), and freestyle motocross. The Tour’s current points leaders include Nate Adams (Freestyle Motocross), Jamie Bestwick (BMX Vert), Daniel Dhers (BMX Park), Ryan Nyquist (BMX Dirt), Shaun White (Skateboard Vert) and Ryan Sheckler (Skateboard Park). There are a number of athletes to watch on the third season of the AST Dew Tour-both veterans and a few new faces. A list of a few of those athletes to watch is as follows:
On the initiative of "local" BMXer Jonathan Jansen and sport and recreation Rotterdam, Youth In Control organizes the second edition of the Freestyle BMX contest on Westblaak. “Best of Blaak” takes place on July 22 and starts at 13.00 hour on the skate course Westblaak in Rottterdam. The event has competitions in the classes expert, master and pro. Entry is for both the participants and public free. BMX in Rotterdam
The event is organized to show that BMX lives in Rotterdam. Initiator Jonathan Jansen: “The group Freestyle Bmx-ers on Westblaak becomes larger, for these people I want to organize an event.” Michiel Verberg of Youth In Control sees with this event an unique possibility showing the Rotterdam audience how spectacular BMX is and how fast the level of riding increased in the previous years.
Terry Adams has signed a one year contract with Raising Cane’s. They are a Chicken Finger Restaurant that has seen some potential in myself and BMX Flatland. "I knew it was going to be a perfect fit for their company because both flatland and Raising Cane’s have a very cool culture that stands out in the public’s eye" said Adams, "I have agreed to represent Raising Cane’s at contest, demos, and media for one year. I am very excited about my new deal with Cane’s and look forward to showing them just how marketable flatland can be."

We're doing a summer edition of Simpel Session - in Tallinn city center on 25th of August 2007. The contest doesn't have big prize money as the winter version but even more so it's just about riding. The event mostly serves a purpose of being a local qualification for big winter Simpel Session in January. But of course everyone else is welcome to join too! The location is great, new Wessel park is shaping up specially for the event and all the girls wear skirts and bikinis. Hehe.. So if anyone has been looking for a reason to visit Estonia in the good weather season then there you have it. The contest will be in BMX park. And there's a lot of street spots to ride here as well. It's getting near that time of year again and this years relax jam should be one of the best so get yourself to Redditch Skatepark on the 29th July. Not only has the park had a revamp with several new ramps, lines etc but the locals have got this park down so even if you dont want to enter its well worth coming to marvel at the stunts that will be performed on a lovely english summers day! The gates open at 12 and its £5 to ride/enter or £2 to spectate. This is a difficult E Mail to write but we want you know the facts. First of all, let us say that Stephen's condition is continuing to improve. Thursday morning started early with a sensation examination by the neurosurgeon. This was a high point as Stephen showed more signs of sensation in his upper arms, and at various places from his buttocks to his toes. Then came the transfer to Denver. At this point we don't know all the facts but this is what we do know. After being prepared for the journey Stephen was happy to be leaving the Shock Trauma unit and there were smiles all round. He was tranferred onto a portable ventilator and taken by stretcher to the Ambulance. Five minutes from the Airport his heart rate started to drop and then briefly stopped.

Frank Lukas wants everyone to know that he is organizing a JAm/ best Trick Contest together with Red Bull one week after the Masters. It is the 21 of July. It will take place in Cologne as well on the roof of the olimpic sports museum near the river. It is downtown and there will be a big Party in the same location together with the famous Disco Dogs from Cologne. So if you come to cologne you have to stay a week there;) There will be price money as well for the first second and third place of the best trick Contest. Every rider has two runs to pull his best combo or trick and in each run he has three tries...
After that we have a bbq and a Videopremier of the new Flatlandmovie; Here comes the sun. The Location is perfect for that cause they have a big videobeamer and a huge white wall and it will be like in a cinema....
