We sat down with Radical Rick creator, Damian Fulton, to see how the raddist rider came to be why he was so good at making us want to go out and shred BMX with our friends.

Sweets Mob team members Reed Stark & Hobie Doan travel to Paris, France & Berlin, Germany for a couple weeks after Simple Session to eat kebabs, ride BMX, play kendama, & throw some epic jams for the for the local BMX, skate, & kendama communities.
USA Cycling is proud to welcome aboard three new members to the Sports Performance staff: Craig Griffin as the Senior Director of Track, Tanner Putt as the Director of Road, and German Medina as the BMX Racing National Team Coach. The Sport Performance team is growing as it approaches the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with an increasingly ambitious medal goal for the next Olympic cycle, Los Angeles 2028.
German Medina, BMX Racing National Team Coach
Medina recently joined the organization to run the USA Cycling BMX Racing National Team program. Medina has raced BMX since 1983, and was a pioneer in bringing science based training to the early years of BMX Racing in Colombia.
Medina worked for the Colombian Olympic Committee from 2007-2022 coaching the BMX Racing team since the sports Olympic debut in 2008. Over the past four Olympic Games, the Colombian BMX Team has raced to six Olympic medals under his guidance, including two gold medals won by Mariana Pajon.
Medina will relocate from his home in Bogota, Colombia to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he will help the U.S. achieve international success and to grow the next generation of BMX racers. He will work alongside the current staff of BMX Development Coach, Arielle Martin-Verhaaran, and Senior Director of BMX Racing
