DEW TOUR ANNOUNCES EVENT DATES FOR THE 2011 SEASON

The 2011 Dew Tour event dates have been released. The Tour will feature skate, bmx and freestyle motocross with additional information regarding locations, competition formats, etc. to be released in early 2011. Make sure to mark your calendars for the following Dew Tour events next season.

Telekom Extreme Playgrounds ready for Berlin takeoff: Line-up of riders complete, Trashmonkeys complete band line-up! By Press Release.

44 professional athletes and 14 full blown musicians make the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds the „place to be“! More than $80.000 are in the purse for the street and vert competitions of skaters and BMX riders. BMX street ripper Mark Webb (UK) and vert luminary Rune Glifberg (DEN) are among the last riders to complete the rider lineup. In between all the ripping, three live acts deliver the right amount of festival flavour. Following the already confirmed bands BoySetsFire and Panic! At The Disco, the Bremen-based indy institution called Trashmonkeys completes the musical lineup. Tickets are going quick. The Telekom Extreme Playgrounds will be broadcasted live on MTV on December 5th at 8pm, followed by a Sport1 special on December 11th at 11.15am. 

The BMX Street field is completed by British lunatic Mark Webb, who is joining last year’s winner Harry Main (UK) and street legend Ryan Nyquist (USA). The vert department is looking forward to see title holder Vince Byron (AUS), his fellow Aussie Steve McCann

2 Jams coming up. Train jam in Staten Island and the 040 November jam in E'hoven..

Ed Pollio and Pim van den Bos sent is some info on their upcoming jams. Ed's jam is on the 13th, Pim's 040 jam on the 20th. We'll start off with the GHB Train Jam info: 1) The second annual GHB Train Jam will be going down on November 13th at 11AM starting at the St. George train station. We start at the St. George train station and make our way towards Tottenville stopping at every stop along the way worth riding. We will be filming and taking photos and there might even be some prizes so be sure to bring your hoodie, double up on your underwears and shred the shit hard for this one.Check flyer 4 info.

DAKOTA ROCHE CONTINUES TO CEMENT HIS STREET CRED IN BMX TAKING SECOND PLACE AT RED BULL’S TRICK OR TREAT CONTEST BROOKLYN, NY

Dakota Roche continues to define the face of street riding taking home second place with Bruno Hoffman at Red Bull’s Trick or Treat contest where 36 BMX riders (18 teams of two) hit a creative course with Halloween themed obstacles. With Dakota’s recent nominations for BMX Street Rider of the Year and Best Video Part at the 2010 Nora Cup awards, as well as his many viral videos and editorial coverage, he is quickly gaining some serious street cred. He is also making a name for himself by placing top five at the Los Angeles Summer X Games 2010 and acting as a guest blogger for various sports blogs in the community space.

Earlier this year Dakota signed to Good Fight Entertainment which also has athletes Chris Cole, Mike V and Tom Asta on it’s roster.
