On Wednesday April 23 Nicole P. will be going against two other girls to be one of Deal or No Deals “Briefcase Beauties” with Howie Mandel! You can vote online or by text message but the window to vote is only open a short time. Watch the show which airs on NBC 8:00 p.m. EST for all the details.

Sifiso Nhlapo kept his Olympic hopes alive when he beat many of the world’s best riders to grab a second victory in the 2008 European BMX Championship Series in Switzerland at the weekend. The 20-year-old South African placed third in Round 9 and then won Round 10 of the 12-leg European Championship Series, the most competitive international BMX racing series in the world. The win came at a good time for Nhlapo, whose last triumph in the Series was back in Round 1 last December. 
The Mutiny Spring video is about to come out. The people over there have been paying attention to detail and they've just released a left-over clip that some people would be damn stoked on as their main production. When some major companies decide to put on a three stop festival and combine it with bands, you can ask yourself some questions. Why do they need us to bring their message across? What have they done for BMX? Why do I need to get involved? You can make your own answers and if it's not your cup of tea, you simply don't go or skip this update, fair enough. But it looks like things are turning in the right direction. The Duisburg stop was sold out for a start. Maybe the crowd did not come for the BMX action alone but it was packed when something happened, 10 deep or more.
