The 2007 Dirty East contest at The Flow attracted some good riders. This resulted in some great riding and some burly crashes. The video clip shows you what was done on the street course that was on hand. Some shit was gnarly. Here's a few names; Ronnie Napolitan, Brandon Dosch, Zach Gerber, Craig Mast, Quinn Semling, Marcus Tooker, Jacob Marks, Joey Marks, Charlie Bowers, Zach Newman and Jeremiah Smith rocked the house and then there's Joey Hill's icepick on the wall.....Hit the image on the right to watch it.
Jeffery Garland and Chad Johnston put together this video from the Flatground contest in Amsterdam with a Talib Kweli live concert mixed into the riding. It might be pretty old by now but if you haven't seen the clip, it shows what breakdance-hiphop- and flatland have in common.

ESPN X Games Dubai 2007, Presented By Mountain Dew, Returns to The Middle East For a Third Year

X Games Dubai will be held December 6-8, 2007 in Dubai Festival City, marking the third consecutive year X Games Dubai will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Featuring many of the world's top action sports athletes, this year's event will no longer just be an exhibition. 
Props Visual's pro bike auction has kicked off. All proceeds go to the Stephen Murray family fund and Mat Hoffman's Condor brought in 1435 bucks. The bikes of Mike Aitken, Rob Wise, Morgan Wade, Chase Hawk and Corey Martinez are up on ebay at the moment and each have a few days to go before they will be sold. 
The grand final of the BidC Tour 2007 is coming closer. On the 1st of December 16 of the best German and Austrian riders are going to battle for the overall win of the Tour. For the first time in Battle in da Club history such a big flatland event is going to taking place in Austria. The Cube Club Nassfeld is going to provide the arena for the final evening. Three time DMC Hong Kong Champion Dj Beware and Felix da Houserat from Austria will take care of the music at the party. 
Brock Heffron from Gilbert, AZ was announced this weekend as Sports Illustrated for Kids 2007 “Youth Athlete of the Year”. Brock was featured on national television on the “CBS Early Show” Saturday morning where they unveiled the December cover of SI Kids featuring Brock posing with Superbowl MVP, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts. Brock flew to Indianapolis Colts Training Center earlier this month for a photo shoot with Peyton who is SI Kids “Athlete of the Year”. Brock was chosen out or over 6,000 athletes for his many athletic accomplishments in football, baseball, and BMX as well as outstanding grades in school. Brocks father John Heffron was asked by SI Kids, what makes your son so special? John stated “Brocks desire to do what ever it takes in practice to be #1” this is the #1 quality that makes a great athlete, with this attitude Brock will achieve great success in everything he attempts.
