Riding trails is not just about the riding. The digging is a big part of it. Of course everyone prefers to be on their bike at the trails but you need to put your time in to enjoy it. Riding dirt rocks because you can shape it the way you want. It's like building a concrete park and having the opportunity to change and adjust it so it flows and feels good. A new line is in the works at the Helm Trails in Helmond, NL. The approach is different and if it works out remains to be seen. If not, there's a possibility to change it up again. 
There was no snow necessary to make a dream downhill run at the Coffee Mill Ski Resort in rural Minnesota this weekend. Luke Parslow put on a non-stop BMX dirt showcase to win the top spot with a barrage of flip tricks. In a flawless two hour session he blasted a 360 backflip, a backflip tailwhip and a double backflip. That was enough to earn the respect of his fellow riders, who awarded him the prize in a contest Parslow called, “the best contest since Red Bull Elevation.” Okay, hands on the handlebars. Knee on the seat. Stay low. Elbows down. Now look back and give a pose. Looking good. 21+? Come in.
