STF Media side projects

Nov 25, 2005
South African Fraser Byrne of STF Media has taken on some side projects to film different stuff than BMX. He shot the Gumball boat trip in France, the mini bike race at the British GP that Jeff Emig won and is on his way to Eastern Europe in a Lada to find some more treats. Maybe he can swing by the Simpel session in Tallinn on the weekend of 6-8 January. Fraser sent us the following taster of his new elusive project:

November 2005: What the fuck happened?

Nov 16, 2005

Damn, Hell, Shit, Devil, the FATBMX server crashed yesterday. Not only did this mean that you couldn't check out the site yesterday, they had only backed up the site from 4 November.

This means that 12 days of uploads are gone and since that takes a couple of hours a day to do, this boy is pissed. What makes me even pissed off is that I have not saved any text and deleted all of the re-sized pics. This blows.

I hope you enjoyed it while it was up. If there is a lawyer out there who can help us sue Orion for a few million.... get in tough. Yeah right.

We apologize to everyone for the inconvenience. We'll try to get some articles back up again and continue from there.

October 2005: NEW FATBMX T-shirts

Oct 27, 2005
FATBMX T shirt designAt FATBMX we do some things backwards. Instead of promoting the hell out of our new t-shirts and sell them online before they are even printed, we get rid of them first and then put the new design on the website. Deamer designed the new T-shirt and like I said, there are only a few left. You can contact Paul at Paul's Boutique to see what sizes are not sold out. The colour of the shirt will be black. That's the only colour that Coach will wear. That bike in the picture is actually Pete Fastinetto's wethepeople. The pic was taken at "Pete's Ditch" and Deamer got to work with it.

 Price: 20 Euros.

November 2005: Mat Hoffman Keeps The Wheels Rollin' Forever

Oct 30, 2005
Mat keeps them rollingWhen Lance Armstrong's wristbands came on the market I didn't expect much of it. Before I knew it though, I saw loads of people wear those yellow bracelets. It didn't take long before the copycats thought they could cash in on this. We've seen pretty much any colour of the rainbow by now. Enter Mat Hoffman. When he was asked to make some art for a wristband, he had some doubts too. But the Condor was also asked to pick two good causes
