Recycle Your Old Kicks at All AST Dew Tour Stops Receive $2 Off Admission and Swap Old Sneaks for Brand New Nike 6.0¹s

Jul 17, 2008
Nike 6.0 is providing Reuse-A-shoe collection bin¹s at every AST Dew Tour stop, where your old kicks will be recycled. Besides Dew-ing the right thing, you¹ll save $2 off admission everyday you bring a pair of blown-out shoes. Show your battered kicks to the ticket office, then toss them dogs in the Nike 6.0 collection bin. As part of Reuse-A-Shoe, we¹ll grind up grimy sneaks of any brand, then process and recycle them into a post-consumer material used to build sport surfaces.

This Sunday at the Cleveland AST Dew Tour, Nike 6.0 will be swapping your blown-out kicks for new 6.0¹s for the first 30 peeps with old sneaks to recycle. Bring your camping gear and get in line early to make the top 30, then show your support at the BMX Park Finals. Gates are scheduled to open at noon. BMX Park Finals go down at 4:30.

Besides finally disposing of that "weird" smell and saving a few

Latest FAT-JAM information. Snafu 8.6 race is on! Frontwheel landing first distance jump as well! Lakejumping on Sunday?!?

Jul 17, 2008
What: FAT-JAM Who: Everybody with a BMX bike + party animals
Where: Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands
Why: 20th edition!
When: 9 August 2008

What: FAT-JAM The 20th edition of the FAT-JAM is going to take place on 9 August next. The FAT-JAM was started in 1987 with the first street jam on the RollerRink in Aarle-Rixtel. A sheet of plywood was nailed against the basketball pole, some pallets were placed against the Renault 4, a washing machine made for an obstacle and together with the few ramps we had to formed a real ghetto park. But the statement was made. Ride for fun and don't worry about the contest. We can say that for the 20th edition the intention is still the same.

Who: The FAT-JAM has been a De Jong Bro cooperation from the start.

BMX PLUS! magazine. August 2008

Jul 17, 2008
Heard of Scott Twiford before? Me neither. But it shows that you don't need to be big time to get a cover of BMX Plus! and we like that. Pay $ 4.99 and you have the August issue in your hands and as the cover says, you can win Darin Read's personal Diamondback too. Turn to page 56 for that. Bikes tested in this issue are the DK Six Pack and the Formula Pro XL race bike. Events covered are the Ticos Jam (flatland!), Ricardo Laguna's Extreme Thing (Vegas style) and the NBL Pacific Nationals. Next to that the following articles can be found inside:
-Racing tips from Matt Pohlkamp
-Hang-5 how-to
-Installing 3-piece cranks how-to
-Bikechecks with Nate Berkheimer, Kevin Porter, Will Love, Ricardo Laguna and Karl Poynter
