Building on the success of the 2009 edition of the Vans ‘Let It Ride’ Roadtrip - the journey continues! On 3rd September 2010, a total of 18 Vans riders from Europe and the USA will come together in Lisbon (Portugal) to collect their mission. The group of riders will be split up into three individual teams with each getting one specific city assigned: - Lisbon, Portugal - Madrid, Spain - Malaga, Spain

During the following 6-7 days the mission is simple…. LET IT RIDE! The teams will search out each given location and shred the spots like no one has before. The journey is documented by the riders themselves, showing you first hand and from their perspective what they have explored. No fancy camera crew – just straight up Bro Cam Style footage allowed.

All Teams will end up together on 10th September in Portimao (Portugal) where the crews will have the chance to exchange

This Saturday, some of the biggest names in BMX from the X Games will appear at Sacramento’s ARCO Arena to compete in the MegaRamp ASA Triples (Triples). For one night only 12 men, including 12-time X Games medalist Ryan Nyquist, the hometown favorite from San Jose, and 15-year-old Brett “Mad Dog” Banasiewicz (South Bend, Indiana) currently ranked #1 in BMX dirt, will be pitted against each other in this head-to-head contest until there’s only one man standing. The Triples, produced by leading action sports event producer ASA Entertainment, in association with MegaRamp Events, showcases the best all-around riders in BMX challenging the athletes’ combined box jumping and dirt jumping skills over a completely unique 195 ft. long wooden course that starts with a version of the famed mini MegaRamp. Momentum from the 25 ft. tall roll-in ramp propels them over two 25 ft. wide jumps and a massive course-ending quarter-pipe. The riders attack the course, throwing down three back-to-back tricks in quick succession, displaying the technique, control, daring and style that make

What?!? You’ve never been to a FAT JAM in your life? Shame on you, but here’s another chance. It’s all not that hard, you just have to commit to it and get some friends together to make that trip down to Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands on Saturday 21 August. If you want to stay for the night, simply google search for a campsite or hotel near Aarle-Rixtel. Now that you’re on the computer, you should print out the directions as well. The trails are at the Valkendijk in Aarle-Rixtel, so type that in and you won’t get lost on your way there. What can you expect?

The ARMA Energy SNX BMX team continued to make its presence known at the Wendy’s Invitational this past weekend in Portland, Oregon. Brandon Dosch remains 2nd overall in BMX Dirt and Chad Kagy holds on to his 4th place position overall in the Dew Cup standings. Coming from a 2nd place finish at the Chicago stop, Dosch finished 5th in the BMX Dirt Finals. He gave his all in his 2 clean runs with a clean triple tailwhip 360 which allows him to remain in 2nd place overall in the chase for the Dew Cup. Kagy was in a tense BMX Vert Final in which all of the podium finishers from the Chicago stop, crashed on their first runs. It all came down to the wire on their last run in which Kagy was one point off the podium and held on to a 6th place finish which allowed him to keep 4th place overall in the Dew Cup chase. Coming off of his X-Games gold medal, Kagy remains a strong presence in BMX Vert and Big Air.

“The ARMA team has what it takes to win and we’re proud to support them in all of their contests and life in general”, said ARMA

Green For All - in partnership with the Dew Tour - today announced the launch of Protect the 360°, a campaign to engage and activate the action-sports community in efforts to curb climate change. The initiative is a direct response to fans' concerns over global warming and its impact on outdoor sports. "Climate change is real," said Dave Mirra, BMX legend. "It affects everything from snow quality to quality of life. But doing little things - like turning off your lights or riding your bike instead of driving - can add up to make a difference. I am doing my part and I hope fans will join me in doing theirs to protect the 360°."

The Protect the 360° campaign includes an interactive website (protect360.org) that provides simple, useful information about how people can make their lives greener.

"Green For All works to educate new audiences about the benefits of going green,"
said Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, CEO of Green For All. "2010 is the hottest year on record and we all have a part to

Wow what a crazy year 2010 has been. As many of you know, I crashed badly at the Chicago Dew Tour doing a 540. From the crash I suffered a 3rd degree separation on my left shoulder. This only aggravated years of abuse and past injuries to the point that time and basic rehab will not heal the injury to extent I need. Since the Chicago Dew Tour, I’ve ridden in the X Games, HB US Open, and Portland Dew Tour with the injury. Unfortunately now with both shoulders popping out every time I ride, I decided to get X-rays & MRI to find out how to fix what’s going on.

It was a fluke that Adam got his first bike, and it was a stroke of luck when he got his first guitar. Nearly twenty years later, you could say he's made the most of both serendipitous events. He's self-produced two albums with a third in the works, and he's been a BMX pro for about a decade. Now Adam joins the growing list of Armourdillo broadcasters and brings his unique contribution to the already diverse roster of personalities. Adam is originally from Virginia and his list of sponsors includes Eastern Bikes, Odyssey, Osiris, and Fender Guitars.sounds cool to us. Dude can ride a bike, that's for sure.
