6.0 doesn’t stop at Shoes. They’ve got a complete line of “action sports” clothes, going under the same umbrella. With people in the company responsible for design, quality control, fabrics, and people relating this to what the riders need, it’s well possible that the final product they come up with is the right one for you.

We make a big deal about around here about the Legacy of SBC, the style, the products, the people. Sometimes things move so fast in the production phase that the steps we take forward aren’t always set out on front street for all to see. We just move forward and do what we do best, that’s Standard. So, to remove some of the mystery behind the process, we bring you the first step in prototyping a new project, The Juke. Maybe it starts with an idea, or an email, many phone calls some napkin sketches, then it

Integrated seat clamps on frames are all the rage these days, but the SNAFU crew is a fan of the tried-and-true alloy clamp. Snafu's new Cerrito clamp goes one better on the standard design by using a stainless-steel insert for the threads. Over-tightening the bolt won't pull the alloy threads out of the clamp. Available in three colors and two sizes later this month.

Over the weekend we heard some shocking news. B&D Verlag, publisher of Freedom BMX magazine and also a MX, Sk8board, and MTB mag is bankrupt. What!!?? I immediately felt for the people who are working there and also thought about the history of the magazine. If you're at number 94, you do want to make it to number 100, at least. So far the insolvence company has picked up the paychecks that's why issue #94 is here. Also the next magazine (#95) is in the works. What happens after that remains to be seen. Here's the options: 1. No more Freedom 2. Another publisher picks up all the magazine titles and it's business as usual 3. Someone buys the Freedom BMX title and keeps it going one way or the other. If you want to show your support to the mag, buy yourself a copy. It can only help keep Freedom BMX alive. #94 has the following to offer:

Who would have thought CASE BMX, the free BMX magazine would make it to issue number three. Well, Mike and his crew of course. And dealing with some strong magazine competition in the UK and the popularity of the internet hasn't turned the Case crew down one bit. The new issue has lots to offer and with a new designer, it also got a new look. UK BMX shops should have the new issue in their store this week with the USA following in a week or so. Issue #3 has got: -Tom Davis article -Casselberry report -4Down road trip -Matt Priest -Chris Hardy -Warren Daniel -Lima & Pipe
