Last weekend we hold our 5th Jam in the local Skatepark in Eiserfeld. Due the bad weather in the past years it was kinda risky to another one at the end of septembre, but unfortanely the weather was better than ever before. First of all there was a local contest for the upcoming kids from Siegen. About 50 kids rode it and they all did pretty good. The first place went to Eddie Baum, a 13 year old kid. He´s local so he knows all the good lines, which you could saw during his runs. Doing all the transfers and wallride combos..

Next sunday 11 october in occasion of Bicycle Film Festival in Milan, Calle Marconi and Nosoccer decide to organize a new street event with bunny hop contest in the final of the day! Meeting Point at Milano Centrale train station for a full day of riding and searching spots in all corner of the big Fashion city! A big number of italian riders will be ready to take a part to show all tricks and skills! The success is promised! The American Bicycle Association and VERSUS are proud to announce an agreement to televise the ABA BMX events and the 2009 UCI Continental events. The ABA and it's production crew have been working on these action packed events and shows for most of this season. The ABA is super excited to bring all the action to the fans and households across the USA. The ABA has been experiencing steady growth in membership and will continue growing and building upon the great success of BMX racing's 2008 Olympic debut. The ABA and VERSUS Network will deliver over 10 hours of programming to an audience of over 56 million homes. With BMX racing emerging as the newest Olympic action sport in 2008, and with the American’s claiming three of the first six BMX Olympic medals ever awarded, the ABA is poised for tremendous growth leading up to the 2012 Olympics in London.

Dorel Industries Inc has acquired the assets of Hot Wheels and Circle Bikes, the UK distributors of the Mongoose and GT brands. This latest purchase is the third transaction in two months. A new subsidiary, to be known as Cycling Sports Group UK (CSG UK), has been created and will be IBD-only. To be HQ'd in Poole, Dorset, CSG UK will coordinate all sales, marketing, distribution and customer service for Mongoose and GT. CSG UK take over the Cannondale distribution in January 2010. Robert Baird, President of Dorel's Recreational/Leisure segment said the creation of this newest subsidiary follows a similar initiative in Australia last month and underlines Dorel’s commitment to take control of its international bicycle brands in order to accelerate growth within the critical IBD channel.
