Kids who are too big for a 16 inch and too small for a 20 inch bike should take a look at the HARO 118. Having the right sized bike makes sense. Lots of sense. Instead of having to work with a bike that's too big for you, you can ride a bike that feels natural. And it sure looks awesome too. Here are the features of the HARO 118. Your local HARO dealer should have them in stock. Go for a test ride, but don't take off without paying. MSRP: $309.99. WEIGHT: 25.25 lbs

Special version of the Evolution in aid of the Stephen Murray Stay Strong cause. A crash in June 2007, whilst attempting a double-flip, ended Stephen’s career as one of the top BMX’ers in the World. Stephen was paralyzed from the shoulders down due to crushed and shattered vertebrae. The Stay Strong cause donates to the Stephen Murray Family Fund which helps pay Stephen’s Medical bills. By purchasing this helmet you are helping to support Stephen and his family on their road to recovery. Featuring our custom low and snug fit the Evolution fits to your head like a protective second skin. Anatomically correct it smoothly curves around your head for a great fit and wearing comfort. The Evolution is shaped on all four sides of the helmet and fits without slipping or jiggling.

Pat Laughlin aka Big Daddy is a character in BMX. He's doing his own thing and doesn't care what other people say. He might have crazy ADD but there's always something going on when he is in the room. Or on the ramps. Instead of keeping things simple, he's always doing something different, like the one-handed table on the cover that we normally don't get to see him do. I wonder what this cover will do to him. For sure it won't shut him up. Congrats on the front page Pat. What else can be found in the April 2013 issue? Joey Felix gets the double spread contents page with a no-handed vader. Bike tests come from Verde's Prism and DK's team frame. The Ben Snowden compound reminds me of the POW house. A bunch of BMX-ers in one place with plenty to do. BMX Plus! checks in. The helmet review/test is a good one. Which helmet fits right? What are the good ones? 10 new helmet designs get checked. Mike Day writes a column for Plus! now. Get on it.

13 February is when the new issue of RIDE UK comes out. Number 173 will hit the newsstands, the bike shops and if you have a subscription, it will drop on your doormat around that day. I personally find it hard to take a good photo of a bomb drop because unlike in most tricks, there is not really a peak moment. If the rider just stands there with the bike in hand, it doesn't say much. If the rider is in mid-air, it looks like he's just jumping from somewhere. But Jason Phelan gets the cover doing one in Malaga, Spain and of course it's huge otherwise the picture wouldn't land on the cover of a magazine. I'm looking out for the video footage of this more though. I'm sure someone filmed it. Anyway, new issue of RIDE UK, which also has an Anthony Watkinson interview, an article about being lost in Japan, two guys on a holiday, the Red Bull Ramparanoia and they're checking in with the RIDE Reader
