BMX, Wakeboard & Rock’n’Roll! The summer issue of the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds announces Mando Diao as this year’s headliner! On Sunday, August 24th, an open-air area themed like „Rock rules“ will be set up in Pinneberg close to Hamburg. The line up features also U.S. Punkband Pennywise alongside the swedish guys from Mando Diao. An additional hot act will be confirmed and announced shortly. International BMX stars will showcase their outstanding skills on the Miniramp.

The second stop of REVOLCON BMX SERIES, took place in Mexico recently. It was on the east coast of the country, where they had an amazing view of the sea. The East Coast Team headed to The NBL Freedom National’s Woodbridge, Virginia. The race was right in Larson’s Family backyard well not exactly in their backyard but less than 10 minutes away from their house. They had a great time and Jon Larson took some amazing pictures. Psykopath was well represented at the NOVA BMX Track in Woodbridge; the race was on April 25-27. The track was smooth and well maintained as usual. Liverpool's fast-growing and popular HUB festival returns for another year with pro and amateur riders equally pulling out all the stops for the crowd. Events took place in Otterspool Park on Saturday 17/05 and Sunday 18/05. The weekend included shows from renowned UK performers 'Team Extreme', including demonstrations, training workshops and stunning displays. More than 23,000 people enjoyed the festival.

USA Cycling and the United States Olympic Committee today released a detailed description of the event format that will be utilized at next month’s 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the sport of BMX. Scheduled for Saturday, June 14 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., the U.S. Olympic Team Trials will feature eight competitors with the overall winner earning an automatic nomination to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team.
