The Bike Festival in Santarém, will receive the last stage of BMX Series by Eastpak - National BMX Championship 2009. The stage will be in 24 and 25 of October and will determine the firsts classifieds of the national ranking. This stage counts with a new circuit built only for this event. There are only 3 categories, Pro , Amateur and Beginners, only riders born after 1992 are able to register in beginners class. The competition will be jam style, the riders will have six minutes for each three riders, alternating 

between themselves.

This stage counts with a 500€ of prize money only for Pro class. The rest of the classes will have several prizes from the varied sponsors and supporters of the championship.

At this point, who is in the best position to ensure the first place of the national ranking in Pro is Daniel Serra, the winner of the last two stages, being fallowed by Pedro Seca form Portimão. In Amateur we have Diogo Santos from Caldas da Rainha and Alexandre Rodrigues from Portimão with the same points. The same situation happens in beginners, João Vale from Leiria and Rafael Alves from Pombal they are tie.
